Karacki : Deputy Commissioner South Tabriz Sadiq Murri has said that all the arrangements for Ashura have been finalized.
According to the statement issued by the Deputy Commissioner's office, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner South Tabriz Sadiq Marri, the main processions of 9th and 10th Muharram, including the routes, passages, and all the arrangements regarding the hospitals have been finalized. .
It was further informed that a final plan has also been drawn up for monitoring the processions and reviewing other arrangements.

According to the press release, all Assistant Commissioners including Deputy Commissioner South, all officers of District South Administration will personally supervise the main processions of Muharram.
The statement issued by the Deputy Commissioner's office further informed that an emergency plan has also been prepared under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner South Tabriz Sadiq Murri to deal with any untoward incident/emergency situation.
2 control rooms have also been set up by the South District Administration to monitor all the procession routes through 'CCTV'.
The Deputy Commissioner said that all the law enforcement agencies including police, rangers, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, District Municipal Corporation, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Water and Sewerage Board, Solid Waste Management, K Electric are in full contact with the administration. .

The press release informed that the cleaning, lights, security and sewage works of the Muharram procession routes have already been completed by the District Administration South.
Yesterday, the Sindh government had banned the use of helicams or drones for video recording of media channels during processions and assemblies from August 7 to 9.
The government also authorized the concerned Station House Officers (SHOs) to register complaints against violators of the ban under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The Sindh Home Department had on August 5 announced a ban on double riding of motorcycles from 6 to 12 Muharram Al-Haram across the province to maintain law and order and avoid any untoward incident.
According to the notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, this ban has been imposed under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
In the announcement issued by the government of Sindh, it was stated that under Section 144, there will be a ban on double riding of motorcycles in Sindh from 6th to 12th of Muharram.
