The administrative judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court transferred the case against 5 accused including 3 brothers and his father to the Anti-Terrorism Court-16 regarding the alleged murder of student Jazlan Faisal.



The main accused Hasnain Faiz, his brothers Irfan Faiz, Ehsan Faiz, their father Muhammad Faiz and friend Anshal were named in the case of shooting dead Jazlan youth over a dispute on May 25 in Bahria Town Karachi.

Last week, the investigating officer submitted the final challan, chargesheeting the three brothers, their father and a friend for the murder and incitement of the teenage student.

He added the names of 9 witnesses to the list.

In the final challan presented by the investigating officer Aslam Jat, it was stated that the investigation, the evidence of the incident and the statements of the witnesses show that the fugitive accused Muhammad Ahsan shot and killed Jazlan Faisal at the instigation of his father Muhammad Faiz. had done, who had a minor quarrel with the accused's brother Muhammad Hasnain.

He further said that Ahsan opened fire with his father's licensed pistol of 9 mm bore while his friend Anshal, said to be the son of a retired major, fired with a 0.30 bore pistol and injured Shah Mir. was

It was stated in the challan that Hasnain, Irfan and Anshal opened fire with the intention of killing the victims which spread terror in the area while Irfan stopped the victim's car with his car and killed the victims.

It further stated that the accused Muhammad Faiz instigated his son by giving his licensed pistol to be used illegally in the crime so that he could kill and injure the victims.

Later, they hid the weapons and filed a fake report of theft of weapons in A section of Ghotki police station.

In the challan, it was said that the fugitive accused Ahsan, his brothers Irfan and Hasnain and their friend Anshal Jazlan and their friend Shah Mir were allegedly killed and his friend Shah Mir was injured while Faiz had committed the crime to conceal the crime (pistol). He was found to be involved in the crime by concealing it.

Investigating officer Aslam Jutt claimed that the accused have been charged under Section 302 (premeditated murder), Section 324 (act of murder), Section 34 (common intention), Section 109 (punishment for aiding and abetting), Section 114 (criminal conspiracy) of the Pakistan Penal Code. presence of an accomplice at the time of commission), are guilty under Section 216A (punishment for harboring robbers) while Section 7 (punishment for committing acts of terrorism) of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 is also included in the First Information Report (FIR). has been added.

Jazlan Faisal murder case
It may be recalled that on May 25, 19-year-old Jazlan Faisal was shot dead by the accused over a dispute in Bahria Town, Karachi, while his friend Shah Mir Ali was injured.

The deceased youth had raised objections to the suspects riding bikes in Bahria Town late at night.

On the charge of premeditated murder in Gadap city police station on the complaint of the deceased's uncle, sections 302 (premeditated murder), 324 (act of murder), 34 (common intention) 109 (punishment for aiding and abetting) of the Pakistan Penal Code. ) and a case was registered u/s 114 (presence of accomplice at the time of commission of offence).

In the FIR, the victim's uncle Arif Sabir said that he was at his home in Haroon Bungalows when he received a call from Shah Mir asking him to come to the Aga Khan University Hospital around 2 pm on Wednesday.

He had said in the FIR that when he reached the hospital, his nephew Jazlan and Shah Mir were admitted to the emergency ward with bullet injuries, Jazlan was unconscious and on ventilator but Shah Mir was able to speak.

He said that Shah Mir told that he along with Jazlan was returning after meeting a relative Ibrahim in his friend Zargham's car, he was traveling towards Jinnah Avenue when he shot a young man in a very dangerous manner. I saw a motorcyclist narrowly avoiding hitting their car.

He had further stated in the FIR that Shah Mir said that when he reached the Eiffel Tower in Bahria Town, the suspects in the car started cross-firing with the other vehicle as a result of which Shah Mir and Jazlan were shot. His friend Zargham was slightly injured, Jazlan was shot in the head.

The petitioner had said that after the firing, many people rushed there and took him to a nearby hospital in Bahria Town and later he was shifted to Aga Khan Hospital where Jazlan died during treatment.
