There are reports that the short video sharing application 'TikTok' is working on introducing its international music service and the company has filed copyright applications in several countries.
The news of the introduction of the music service called 'TikTok Music' came out last week, according to which the Chinese company has filed for copyrights in Australia and the US.
Now the news has come out that the Tik Tok owner company 'Byte Dance' has also submitted the same request in UK, Singapore, New Zealand, Mexico and Malaysia.
According to 'TechCrunch', Tik Tok applications said that users will be able to upload their songs, poetry, poems, phrases and other creative th
ings on the said platform.
According to requests, people will also be able to download poetry, songs, sayings, poems and comments from the platforms while editing features will also be provided on the platform and people will be able to discuss the posts.
The platform has been dubbed 'TikTok Music' in the filings, hinting that the Chinese company will introduce its own music streaming service.
Tik Tok's aforementioned service is likely to be similar to music streaming website 'Spotify', but it is too early to say anything in this regard.
Tik Tok currently also operates another music platform 'Reso', but it is available in a few countries such as Brazil, India and Indonesia, but the new platform is likely to be rolled out globally.
Tik Tok is currently the most popular app, leaving other platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat in trouble.
