WhatsApp, the world's most popular instant messaging application, has started testing a feature that will allow users to recover deleted messages.
Such a feature is now available on many applications and social websites, including Gmail, but not on WhatsApp.
Most of the WhatsApp users wanted to introduce such a feature, which allows to get back deleted messages or content and now it has been reported that the trial has started on it.
According to the report of the website 'Web at Info', which monitors the updates of WhatsApp, the test of the feature to recover deleted messages has been started and the access has been given to limited users immediately.
Most of the US and European users have been given access to test the feature, but it has also been rolled out to users around the world on a limited scale.
Under the same feature, users will be able to recover any of their deleted messages or content.
It may be possible to recover deleted content or messages within 20 seconds of deletion, but it is too early to say anything about that immediately.
A similar feature on other apps and websites allows users to retrieve deleted content within 20 seconds of deleting a message.
WhatsApp is likely to introduce this feature by the end of this year.
