Despite Azam Khan excellent batting in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Peshawar Zalmi scored two valuable points to beat Islamabad United by 10 runs.
In the 24th match of the event being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Peshawar Zalmi had invited Islamabad United to bowl first.
When Peshawar Zalmai started the innings, Mohammad Haris had already taken an aggressive approach from the over and played beautiful strokes around the wicket.
Hazratullah Zazai call from the other end remained silent and when he was dismissed for a total score of 73, he scored only 13 runs off 12 balls.
Yasir Khan came to Harris' side and both the young batsmen added 40 runs for the second wicket while playing res.
Harris was the second player to be dismissed for 70 off 32 balls with five sixes and seven fours.

In pursuit of the target, Afghan batsman Rehmanullah Garbaz took an aggressive approach and completed a half-century in just three overs.
Garbaz made 46 off 19 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 3 fours and became Salman Irshad's wicket while new batsman Danish Aziz could not even open his account.
Mubashir Khan made a partnership with Azam Khan to take the score to 89 but this partnership of 44 runs came to an end as a result of Mubashir's dismissal while Liam Dawson also managed to score only four runs.
Azam Khan batted well from the other end and scored a half century but no other batsman including acting captain Asif Ali could keep up with him.
Asif scored 11 and Faheem 11 runs after which Azam Khan's courage was also answered on the total score of 183 which was bowled out for 85 off 45 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 6 fours.
Islamabad United scored 196 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated overs and Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 10 runs.
For Peshawar Zalmi, Salman Irshad bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets while Wahab Riaz managed to take 2 wickets.
Earlier, five changes have been made in the squad of Islamabad United for the match and Asif Ali is leading the team in place of Shadab Khan.
