Former captain of Pakistan hockey team World Cup winner and Olympic champion Manzoor Hussain popularly known as Manzoor Junior died in a private hospital in Lahore due to cardiac arrest.
State broadcaster PTV said on the social networking website Twitter that 'Manzoo Hussain Jr. was suffering from a heart condition and was shifted to the hospital due to deterioration of his health, but he could not survive'.
According to APP report, Olympian Manzoor Hussain passed away at the age of 64. He was a part of the team that won bronze and gold medals in the 1976 and 1984 Olympics.
