Speaking to the official TV channel 'PTV Sports', Mohammad Hafeez called Shaheen Afridi not only a Pakistani product but an asset to the world.

Mohammad Hafeez said that my concern regarding Shaheen is that he is a product not only for Pakistan but for the world, he is developing and the whole world wants to see him play, we have to take care of him properly. .

He said that it is clear from PCB's announcement regarding Shaheen Afridi being sent to London for treatment that Shaheen was suffering from injury for several weeks.

Mohammad Hafeez said that he has now gone to England but why this decision could not have been made 8 weeks ago?
