Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that those who give lectures day and night should find a solution to the problems that caused this flood. After learning from the mistakes, we should be united to follow the laws to prevent such incidents in the future.



In the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif while discussing the flood situation said that after examining the flood affected areas, we have realized that the situation is very serious and the spread of its damages is quite high. 20 billion rupees have been distributed among the victims, another 8 billion will be distributed in the next 3 days.

He said that considering the flood disasters, we have increased it to 70 billion rupees by adding another 28 billion rupees to the budget allocated for the victims after consultation. will be delivered, work has started in this regard, approval will also be taken from the cabinet.

The Prime Minister said that apart from this, a grant of 15 billion rupees has been announced by the federation for Sindh province, similarly 10, 10 billion rupees for Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 3 billion rupees should be released to Gilgit-Baltistan. will

Ibn said that for those who lost their loved ones due to flood disasters, the federal government is distributing compensation of Rs. Already, Rs 5 billion was given to NDMA in this regard and now Rs 3 billion more is being given.

He said that in the last 8-9 days, the world started to realize how much rains and floods have wreaked havoc in Pakistan, after which help from all over the world, including friendly countries, is continuing for the flood victims. All the Cabinets played their role to make the world aware of this and it became easy for the world to understand our sufferings. As a result of this awareness, aid came from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, America and China. Saudi Arabia also gave aid. Britain has also announced to increase its aid.

Shahbaz Sharif said that there is a need for a drain in the Indus River, if we do not manage it, God willing, water will accumulate in the same way as a result of natural calamities in the future as well and there will be destruction, so a comprehensive plan in this regard. A ban is required.
