A video of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's conversation with tourists of Pakistani origin in the flood-affected Swat region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in Urdu and German has gone viral and people have made various comments on it.
The official Twitter handle of the Government of Pakistan also shared a video of the Prime Minister, in which he can be seen talking to German tourists of Pakistani origin.
In the video, it can be heard that the tourists first spoke to the Prime Minister in Urdu and told Shahbaz Sharif that they had come from Germany to see Swat.
Later, the tourists told the Prime Minister that they originally belong to Sahiwal area of Punjab, but they are living in Germany, upon which the Prime Minister asked them if they know German.
After being asked by Shahbaz Sharif, a tourist girl spoke to him briefly in German and the Prime Minister also spoke to him in Germany.
The video of him speaking in Germany went viral on social media and people made various comments on it.
Many people expressed surprise that apart from Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi and Arabic, the Prime Minister also knows German.
Some people shared his video and wrote that Shahbaz Sharif also knows Chinese and Japanese while he is also well versed in Turkish.
Some fans shared his video and wrote that they did not understand a single word of the conversation given by the Prime Minister in German but they must have laughed.
Similarly, some people wrote that the prime minister also spoke in German language like the people taking the beginner's course of German language.
Most of the people made funny comments on Shahbaz Sharif's video and expressed surprise that the Prime Minister can speak in languages of other countries.
