At least 64 people have died as Hurricane Ian wreaks havoc in Florida.




 According to a CNN report, Florida residents are still dealing with major flooding, possibly facing several days of dangerous hurricane activity, the worst storm in the state's history.

 At least 64 people have been killed by Hurricane Ian in Florida alone, while four people have been killed in storm-related incidents in North Carolina, officials said.

Experts warned that the storm's worst impact was in Florida, where flooding could continue into next week, the report said.

 CNN staff saw flooding in Arcadia, West Florida, Saturday morning, with several parts of the city overlooking the lake, obscuring the main road, the report said.

 US President Joe Biden has approved a disaster declaration, which will make federal resources available to affected counties.
