 Islamabad Magistrate Rana Mujahid Rahim issued the arrest warrant of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on September 30 in the case filed on August 20.

 Imran Khan's arrest warrant has been issued in the case of threatening female Additional District and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhary.

Islamabad Police said in a statement that the issue of the arrest warrant of Chairman PTI Imran Khan is a legal process, Imran Khan did not appear in the court on the previous appearance.

The police said that 'arrest warrants have been issued to ensure the appearance of Imran Khan in the court and the Hon'ble High Court had issued an order to drop the section of terrorism from the case number 407/22'.

He said that 'after this order, this case was transferred to the session court, Imran Khan has not yet obtained his bail from the session court, if he does not appear, he can be arrested'.

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah while speaking in Geo News program 'Niya Pakistan' said that the issuance of arrest warrant of Imran Khan is normal and it is warrantable.

He said that this is a bailable offence, so there is no question of arrest. On the other hand, after the news of Imran Khan's arrest warrant being issued, PTI workers gathered at Bani Gala, the party chief's residence.

Islamabad Police said in another tweet that 'rumors are being spread that 300 police personnel have been sent to Bani Gala, there is no truth in these reports and they are baseless'.

The statement said that 'routine duty has been sent to Banigala, citizens are requested not to heed the propaganda'.

Fawad Chaudhry said that "Issuing a warrant like this in very weak provisions and a weak case by Imran Khan is a very futile act".

He said that 'media spectacle has been created through bailable provisions and stupid case, which was not necessary, the air of this case has already gone out before the decision of Islamabad High Court'.

In a video statement from Bani Gala, PTI leader Murad Saeed claimed that a van of prisoners had reached Imran Khan Chowk and demanded party workers in Islamabad to reach the party chief's residence.

He said that Imran Khan is our red line.

They said that if they try to cross the red line and enter Bani Gala, we will jail them in Islamabad by tomorrow morning.

Several PTI leaders also reached Bani Gala and showed support to Imran Khan.

Case against Imran Khan
PTI Chairman Imran Khan, while addressing a rally in Islamabad on August 20, threatened to register a case against the IG and DIG of Islamabad Police and said, "We will not leave you."

After that, he also warned the judiciary for having a biased attitude towards his party and said that now they too should be ready for the results.

Imran Khan had also warned Additional and Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry that she would also have to face serious consequences. Remand was granted.

After which a case was registered against the former Prime Minister Imran Khan under the Anti-Terrorism Act in Margalla Police Station on the complaint of Ali Javed, Magistrate of Sadar area of ​​Islamabad.

In the FIR, it was said that on August 20, a rally was held under the leadership of Imran Khan against the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehbaz Gill from Zero Point to F9 Park, during which Imran Khan's speech began. He started intimidating and threatening the top officers of the Islamabad Police and a respected lady Additional Judge.

Sections 504/506 and 188/189 were imposed against Imran Khan in the case registered on August 20 in Margalla police station.

The FIR further stated that the purpose of Imran Khan's speech was to intimidate senior police officers and the judiciary so that they would not perform their duties and if necessary take action against any leader of Tehreek-e-Insaaf. Avoid.

It was further stated in the FIR that Imran Khan's speech in this manner has spread fear and panic among the police authorities, the judiciary and the public and has spread anxiety, unrest and terror among the public and destroyed the peace of the country. Is.

It was requested in the FIR that legal action should be taken against Imran Khan and exemplary punishment should be given to him.

Order to Exclude Terrorism Provisions
Later, on September 19, the Islamabad High Court ordered to drop the terrorism section against Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the female judge intimidation case. .

A 2-member bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minullah heard the plea to dismiss the terrorism case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan for threatening female magistrate Zeba Chaudhry and top police officers, and after the arguments of the lawyers, the decision was taken. It was said that the proceedings against the former prime minister will continue in the relevant forum on other provisions except anti-terrorism.

Affidavit deposition in Islamabad High Court
Chairman PTI Imran Khan submitted an affidavit in the Islamabad High Court today (October 1) regarding the statement made by District Additional Judge Zeba Chaudhry.

He said that as Chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, I have been fighting for the rule of law, respect for the judiciary and independence for the past 26 years and unlike other political leaders, I always spoke about the rule of law in every public gathering.

He further said that during the proceedings of the case in the court, I realized that I might have crossed the red line while speaking at the public meeting on August 20, 2022.

He said that it was never my intention to threaten the Honorable Judge of the District Court nor was there any intention behind this statement other than legal action.

Chairman PTI further said that I want to assure that I am ready to explain before the Hon'ble Judge of the District Court that neither I nor my party sought any action against the Hon'ble Judge and if the Judge Gets the impression that I'm ready to apologize if I've crossed the line.
