After Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, took control of Twitter, like many other American singers and actresses, Gigi Hadid, an American model of Palestinian origin, also deactivated her account on Twitter.

Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion in April 2022, after which on October 28 last month, he announced that he would lay off thousands of people and charge monthly fees from verified account holders.

Elon Musk is also being criticized after such decisions, but he is standing firm, after which many famous personalities started calling the platform God Haft.

According to showbiz website 'Page Six', Gigi Hadid announced the deactivation of her account by sharing a screenshot on Instagram of the news that Twitter's entire human rights team had been fired.

She clearly wrote that she could no longer be a part of a platform that spreads hate and bigotry, regretting deactivating her account after a decade.

Gigi Hadid wrote that she used to keep in touch with fans on Twitter for 10 years but it is not possible to do so now, because Twitter has become a center of bigotry.

She also apologized to her fans for deactivating her Twitter account and said that she has been deactivating her account for a long time.

Even before Gigi Hadid, many famous American singers and actresses have said God Hafiz to Twitter.

According to the American broadcasting organization "Fox News", the senior American actress T. Leoni also called God Hafiz to the platform after Elon Musk took control of Twitter.

Like him, actress, singer and songwriter Sara Bareilles, singer Toni Braxton and TV star Shonda Rhimes also said goodbye to Twitter after Elon Musk took control.

All the above mentioned actresses also confirmed in their last tweets on Twitter to call the platform God Hafiz indefinitely.

Also, it was reported last week that the account of his ex-lover Amber Heard was also deactivated or deleted after Elon Musk took control.

It is believed that Elon Musk's policies based on human rights abuses will likely lead to more famous and important people saying goodbye to Twitter.
