This statement indicates that she is referring to the incident that took place at the Oscar Awards.
Earlier, Jade Smith had not taken part in the public debate on Chris Rock joke and Will Smith move.
There has been no immediate reaction to Chris Rock slapping or Will Smith's apology.
But after the Oscars, ticket sales for his upcoming comedy show have skyrocketed.
TuckPuck, a company that sells tickets, said it sold more tickets in one night than it had in the previous month.
Earlier, Will Smith apologized to Chris Rock for the slap.
He said in an Instagram post that his behavior at the event, which was televised, was unacceptable and unforgivable.
"I want to publicly apologize to Chris, I went out of my way and I'm wrong," he said.
It is believed that the incident took place when Chris Rock made fun of Will Smith's wife's hair on stage.
Will Smith went on stage and slapped the comedian.
"Will Smith just hit me," said Chris Rock, a victim of the cane.
In his post, Will Smith said: "The joke about Jeddah's medical problem was too much for me and I reacted emotionally."
"I am ashamed and there is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness," he added.
Earlier, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences condemned Will Smith's move, saying "we are reviewing the matter."
"We are formally reviewing the incident and will consider further action and action under our rules, laws and California law," the statement said.
The academy policy is clearly against violence, harassment or discrimination and according to the statement, academy members value the principles of respect for human dignity.
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or expulsion, cancellation of the Oscars or ineligibility for future awards.
Actors' representative body Sag-Aftra has condemned the slap by Will Smith as unacceptable and said it was in touch with the academy and broadcaster ABC to take appropriate action.
Earlier, producer Harvey Winston's membership was expelled from the academy for sexually assaulting more than a dozen women.
In his statement, Will Smith also apologized to the academy, show producers, attendees, the audience, the Williams family and members of his film King Richard.
