Pakistan beat Australia by 6 wickets and tied the series 1-1 with the help of brilliant centuries from captain Babar Azam and opener Imam-ul-Haq.

In the second ODI of the three-match series being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited Australia to bat first.

Australia lost the wicket of captain Aaron Finch on the third ball of the first over when Shaheen Shah Afridi made him LBW.

The second wicket partnership between the previous match hero Travis Head and Ben McDermott was a brilliant 162-run partnership during which both the batsmen completed their half-centuries.

Zahid Mehmood gave Pakistan its second victory by dismissing Travis Head while he was scoring 89 off 70 balls with the help of 6 fours and 5 sixes.

MacDermat supporter Marinus Lebushin came on the field and gave his full support.

Australia score reached 237 in 35 overs when Harris Rauf was caught by McDermott Muhammad Waseem who scored 104 off 108 balls with the help of 10 fours and 4 sixes.

Marinus Labushin was the wicket of Khushdal Shah for 59 runs but at that time Australia score had reached 272 in the 44th over. Alex Carrey was the fifth batsman to be dismissed, his innings was limited to 5 runs, he was dismissed by Muhammad Wasim.

Shaheen Shah Afridi did not allow other Australian batsmen to play openly.

Cameron Green also scored 5 runs and Shaheen Shah Afridi wicket for 301 runs.

Marcos Stevens could not complete his half century by a margin of one run and Shaheen Shah scored 49 off 33 balls with the help of 5 fours and a six.

The last batsman to be dismissed by Australia was Shaun Abbott who faced 16 balls and scored 28 runs to become Shaheen Shah Afridi's fourth wicket.

Australia scored 348 for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated overs.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took the most 4 wickets, Muhammad Waseem took 2 wickets.

Pakistan achieved the target in 49 overs at a loss of 4 wickets.

Earlier, Pakistan made a change in the squad for the match and replaced Hassan Ali with Shaheen Shah Afridi in the final XI.

Australia retained the winner of the last match XI.

It should be noted that Australia had defeated Pakistan by 88 runs in the first ODI to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Both teams were composed of these players for the match.
