Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is holding a public meeting in Bagh-e-Jinnah, Karachi, where party chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan is addressing.

Imran Khan in his speech said that today I have come before you to have a special discussion because the issue is your future, I am very happy to see the flags of Pakistan everywhere because the issue is not of PTI but of Pakistan.

He said that the conspiracy against our country, you can easily hear that it was a conspiracy or intervention and asked the people that it was a conspiracy or intervention and said that there was a conspiracy from a big foreign country.

"I am not against any country, I am not against India, I am not against Europe, I am not against America, but I am with humanity all over the world and I am not against any nation," he said.

Imran Khan said that America is our strongest and most powerful community, they also send to Pakistan, on which our country runs, I want friendship from all but I do not want slavery from anyone.

He said that people said that there is an external and internal conspiracy, mafia is sitting against your life and it is possible to know but my life is not necessary but your future is necessary, one Mir Jafar has imposed on us.

He said that Mir Jafar was a traitor who along with the British betrayed the Mughal Empire of Bengal to Siraj-ud-Daulah and Bengal fell into the hands of Muslims. Bengal was the richest province of the Mughal government.

Chairman PTI and former Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Bagh Jinnah Karachi to address the gathering.

Addressing the rally, Sheikh Rashid, head of PTI ally Awami Muslim League-N, praised the people of Karachi and claimed that the city had broken the record of Fatima Jinnah's rally through Imran Khan rally.

 

He predicted that Imran Khan would overthrow the present government before May 30 and sharply criticized PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

Sheikh Rashid said, "I want to tell the Pakistan Army that we are with you. The waving flag can be seen that Karachi is with the flag of Pakistan and Imran Khan."

Resigned Sindh Governor Imran Ismail said that all the people of Karachi were ready to take to the streets on Imran Khan call and claimed that his party could close the entire city whenever it wanted.

Imran Ismail said that we have the power to close the city on half an hour's notice, we have done it in the past and we have the courage to do it again but we all need to support Imran Khan.

Meeting arrangements

PTI Sindh Assembly member Shehzad Qureshi said that the stage has been set up with the help of 100 containers under the shadow of Quaid's mausoleum.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a statement on the social networking site Twitter a day ago, had asked his supporters to bring the Pakistani flag to the rally and said that the fight was now for the country sovereignty and true democracy. ۔

PTI leader and Governor Imran Ismail claimed that the meeting would be the largest in the history of Pakistan and said that Imran Khan address was expected to be delivered by 9 o'clock.

PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it does not matter whether the PTI is censored, banned or the coverage is stopped because the people will still come out for the independence and sovereignty of Pakistan.

On the other hand, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry claimed that the whole country would come out for protest and every city would have scenes like Karachi which is the center of the campaign.

He said that those who would black out this campaign would black out themselves.

Fawad Chaudhry, speaking to the media this week along with PTI leader Hamad Azhar, had called for nationwide protests every week "to get the freedom snatched from America".

Security

Karachi police have made security arrangements for the PTI meeting and this was also acknowledged by the PTI leadership and said that all possible cooperation would be extended to the security officials.

In addition to the police security, security arrangements have been made by PTI volunteers and seating arrangements for the participants, shuttle service for transporting women and children to the venue.

Shehzad Qureshi said that we have prepared a plan, we have asked the families to come from Society Intersection from where they can enter Bagh-e-Jinnah from Shahra-e-Qaedin.

"People coming from Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and University Road can park their vehicles at the VIP gate of Mazar-e-Quaid," he said.

He said that similar arrangements have been made at Nishtar Park, KGA Ground and China Ground from where a shuttle service has been arranged for the families to reach the meeting place.

It is to be noted that this is the second major meeting of the PTI after the overthrow of the government through a no-confidence motion in the federation, while earlier in Karachi last Sunday a call was made by PTI chairman Imran Khan for protest. But a large protest rally was held at the Millennium Mall.

Critics and political analysts termed the PTI protest in Karachi as a big rally and said it was a sign of PTI attention in Karachi.

PTI had claimed that the show has started and there will be no less than one million people with their leader in Bagh-e-Jinnah.
