On behalf of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, Babar Awan submitted a letter to the Election Commission in which it was said that strict action should be taken against those who use the name of PTI in any forum.
In the letter, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is the largest political party in Pakistan. Members nominated.

Earlier, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri had said that he had accepted the resignations of 123 members of PTI as acting speaker.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib had also said in his tweet that the resignations of 123 members of PTI National Assembly have been accepted by Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri and the National Assembly Secretariat has also issued a formal notification.
He said that with the acceptance of resignations, general elections in the country have become inevitable.

Later, former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan confirmed in a statement on Twitter that "I would like to pay tribute to our 123 members of the Assembly whose resignations have been accepted by Speaker Qasim Suri".
"His commitment to an independent Pakistan and to the criminals, the convicted and the bailed out of the United States, is commendable," he said.
