Reacting to the Prime Minister announcement to dissolve the National Assembly, journalists said that even the umpires were stunned by the Prime Minister action.

The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was rejected before the vote. Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri dismissed the no-confidence motion as unconstitutional. The President has been advised to dissolve the Assembly.

Journalist Mubashir Luqman said that Imran Khan had done so much damage to democracy with his unconstitutional move that he could not even imagine.
He said the move would not benefit his party popularity.

He said that no foreign power has the right to overthrow the elected government of Pakistan under conspiracy. The points raised by the Law Minister are correct. It is against freedom and against the rules and regulations I give the ruling to reject this resolution.
He said that using the powers conferred on him under Article 54 (3) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, he dismissed the meeting convened on Friday, March 25, 2022.
At the same time, he adjourned the sitting of the lower house indefinitely.
