Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that police personnel who were part of security outside the Bani Gala residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan would arrest the former prime minister after his bail expired.

In a series of tweets on social networking site Twitter, the Home Minister welcomed Imran Khan's return from Peshawar to Islamabad.

The PTI chief had returned to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the party's 'Independence March', which started in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ended abruptly in Islamabad.

PTI leader Shahbaz Gill has since claimed that the security provided to the former prime minister has been removed.

Rana Sanaullah said in his tweets today that "Imran Khan welcomes Niazi on his return to Islamabad, he is being provided security as per law".

He said that Imran Khan Niazi has been named as an accused in more than two dozen cases registered in the country for rioting, sedition, spreading chaos and armed attacks on the federation.

He wrote that "the same security provided in accordance with the law on the expiry of judicial bail will arrest Imran Niazi with great enthusiasm."

The Home Minister said that a person who has created chaos in the country and who is totally devoid of moral and democratic values ​​and used to call his opponents as traitors and Yazid, how can he be the head of a political party in a democratic society. Is? This is a moment of reflection for the whole nation.

It may be recalled that a day after the end of the 'Real Freedom March' on May 25, several cases were registered against Imran Khan in various police stations in Islamabad on charges of arson and vandalism.

Last week, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) granted pre-arrest bail to the former prime minister till June 25 in exchange for bail bonds of Rs 50,000.

The PTI chairman was also directed to appear before the Islamabad Sessions Court by June 25.

Security high alert outside Bani Gala

It may be recalled that in a tweet on June 3, Shahbaz Gul had alleged that the government had withdrawn Imran Khan's security despite the threat alerts.

He had claimed that the convicted Maryam Nawaz was being provided security at the level of Prime Minister.

Shahbaz Gul wrote in his tweet that "the security provided to the former prime minister by the Islamabad police was withdrawn, all the members of the Islamabad police were called back yesterday evening".

He wrote that on the one hand the convicted Maryam Safdar is being given security equal to that of the Prime Minister, on the other hand the security has been withdrawn from the leader of the Muslim Ummah.

Last night, Islamabad police said that in view of Imran Khan's expected arrival, security around Bani Gala has been tightened and a high alert has been issued.

Islamabad police tweeted, "However, so far Islamabad police have not received any confirmed information about the return of Imran Khan's team."

The tweet further said, "The security division has deployed strict security in Bani Gala. The list of people in Bani Gala has not been provided to the police yet. Section 144 is in force in Islamabad and as per the order of the district magistrate." No gathering is allowed.

In a tweet, Islamabad police said that Imran Khan would be provided full security as per law and Imran Khan's security teams were also expected to co-operate.
