During the ongoing fourth spell of Monsoon in Sindh, intermittent rain is continuing in various cities including Karachi, Hyderabad.



On Sunday, there was light and some rain in different areas of Karachi including Malir, Dinba Goth, Kathor, Shahrah Faisal, Gulshan Iqbal, Gulshan Hadid.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rains across the country from August 6 to 13.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to rains, facilities with weak infrastructure may be damaged.

Apart from Sindh, rains are also continuing in various cities of Punjab. The water level in Ravi river has started rising due to rain.

Apart from Ravi River in Narowal, there is a risk of flooding in canals and streams. Bathing in rivers, canals, streams and drains has been banned for one month under Section 144.

Meanwhile, it rained in different cities of Balochistan including Chaman, warning of flood situation has been issued in Eastern Balochistan.

The federal government has imposed emergency in rain and flood affected areas.

In view of the rains, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has also warned about the rains.

It should be noted that as a result of the monsoon rains in Karachi last month, many citizens lost their lives, most of the citizens died in the incidents of electrocution.

An alarming increase in the number is also being seen.
