Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan reached the court of female Additional Judge Zeba Chaudhry to apologize for his statement, but he could not meet the judge.
It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court had initiated contempt of court proceedings against Imran Khan last month for threatening a female judge during a rally on August 20.
In the September 22 hearing, Imran Khan had agreed to go to the female judge and apologize for the statement made about Judge Zeba Chaudhry, after which the Islamabad High Court had postponed the indictment proceedings against him.

During the hearing of the contempt of court case in the Supreme Court, Imran Khan had said that I am ready to go to the lady judge and ask for forgiveness.
Meanwhile, the court had remarked that Imran Khan should submit an affidavit within a week regarding the pardon, it will be his personal decision to go to the lady judge or not.
In this regard, the former prime minister arrived in Zeba Chaudhry's court today along with his lawyer, but he could not meet the lady judge.
Meanwhile, Chairman PTI while talking to the staff of the female judge's office said that I had come to apologize to Zeba Chaudhry.

Imran Khan while talking to the court reader said that he has to tell lady judge Ziba Chaudhry that Imran Khan had come and wanted to apologize if his words hurt her.
He reminded the staff of the female judge to convey his message to Zeba Chaudhry.
Extension of bail in Section 144 cases
Earlier, the former prime minister appeared before a local court in Islamabad in a case of violation of Section 144, where his bail was extended.
An FIR was registered against Imran Khan on August 20 last month for violating Section 144 by holding a rally in the capital.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal heard PTI chief's bail plea.

During the hearing, Imran Khan's lawyer Babar Awan said that he recently found out that this crime against Imran was alleged to be committed on his mother, was any statement recorded in this regard?
The Sessions Judge inquired whether the investigating officer of the case had written a statement on him to which the investigating officer replied that he had not written his statement, the investigating officer who had given me the notification had written his statement.
On this, Babar Awan said that this is the 21st FIR against Imran Khan within the limits of Islamabad, even if the investigating officer records his statement now, it is not acceptable.
After hearing the arguments of the parties, the court confirmed the PTI chairman's interim bail against a surety bond of Rs 5,000.
