Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that I am here to tell the story of Pakistan, my heart and mind are not ready to leave the memory of the homeland, I feel that I am affected by the flood. He said that I have come here to tell the severity of the disasters caused by climatic disasters, due to which one third of Pakistan is under water, severe floods for 40 days and 40 nights have broken the climatic records of centuries. We are aware of this disaster and how to deal with it, even today most of Pakistan is under water.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that due to climate change, 33 million people, including children and women, are facing health risks. Currently, there are 650,000 pregnant women in tents, more than 1,500 people have died. Including 400 children, people are suffering from malnutrition.

He said that people displaced due to floods are still looking for a dry place to pitch their tents, the victims and their families have suffered heart-wrenching losses, their jobs have been lost for a long time to come. went.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that according to preliminary estimates, roads spread over 13 thousand kilometers and more than 1 million houses were destroyed and another 1 million houses were partially damaged and 370 bridges were washed away.
He said that due to the devastating floods, 10 lakh cattle were killed, crops were destroyed on 40 lakh acres of land, the devastation is unimaginable.
'Life in Pakistan has changed forever'
