In Afghanistan, the Taliban government has strongly condemned the suicide bombing at the Jama Masjid in Peshawar.

 A suicide bomber killed 57 people and injured more than 190 during Friday prayers at the Jamia Masjid in Qissa Khawani Bazaar area of Peshawar.

The Afghan Taliban have reacted to the incident.

Taliban spokesman and Afghanistan's Deputy Information Minister Zabihullah Mujahid has strongly condemned the Peshawar bombing in a tweet.

Zabihullah Mujahid said that there was no justification for attacking citizens and worshipers and strongly condemned the Peshawar blast.

 

He expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
